Jazzy Jay and Afrika Bambaataa on 98.7 Kiss Mastermix Dance Party 1983 [Remastered]:
http://www.mediafire.com/?vyz2gymettz
This is 1983 and this is a 40 minute segment of a ’3 Hour commercial free music sweep’…featuring Jazzy Jay & Bam on the reel to reel as well as the decks, this has floated around for a while but I listened to it again recently and what they did on the edit blew me away….
They totally re-edit individual tracks within this mix. It’s really just a Hip-Hop only Jay & Bam version of a Kiss FM Latin Rascals Dance Party. So many rare tunes too. Its as if theyve done the most almighty pause-button tape when they get heavy on the machine-gun edit. Peep what they do with Burzootie – Drum Machine.
It’s a bit abrasive at times due to the quality, but generally, this is a sick tape…
Natasha King – AM-FM
Kurtis Blow – Party Time
Run DMC – Sucker MCs
Smurfs – Smurf for what its Worth
Malcolm & Worlds Famous – Shes Lookin like a Hobo
Burzootie – Drum Machine
Crash Crew – On the Radio
