Richard Sen/ Bronx Dogs – ‘STYLE Versus TECHNIQUE’ Mix

Another exclusive from HOTASBALLS. Be about it, it’s the ‘Styles vs Technique’ Mix by Richard Sen/ Bronx Dogs. Just cop it and listen. It was due to be broadcast on XFM in London back in 2005, I think, it never made it to the broadcast stage, cant say why… Might even have been a proposed ‘Superchunk’…

Mr Sen is a gentlemanly vandal, an ageing ex-writer and London bombin king ‘Coma’, a graff legend some say, he’s also the alternative dark disco HNIC behind Padded Cell.

If you wanna break it down to the knuckle-bone, this is a rare mix of dope music & obscure breaks, one of the finest ‘breaks’ mixes ever in fact; DRUMS FOR DAYS, and 2009 pause-button subtle, even though it’s from ages ago . It doesnt really need introduction. The mix style is mostly chopped together, quite a bit, one track straight into the next, alot of the time, and it’s all ye need…

It’s top-rock B-Boy, it’s ZULU like the gestapo,  it’s dubbed out hard relentless drums from a host of continents, it’s banana Master Shakes. Whodini, AC/DC, Rush, ELO, Jay ‘Burzootie’ Burnett, Yoko Ono, Colourbox, Buchanan & Goodman and hekka more appear alongside the nuttiest of nutty Irish jig type blends to create the sickest Zulu drums and violin ever. Thems the underscores there charlie ! Keep em pricked !

With plenty of left-turns, this exclusive is tight as feck, and it’s rare as hen’s front teeth.
