…I’d be holding on it, but I’d be tempted to scoop this up if the scrill was burnin a hole in my pocket. There are 2 days left on this auction if you got that spare mattress money.
You wouldnt catch me in neon-lit leather and tbh, this is ugly as all hell but its conceptually and in an engineering sense, on some next level isht. A bunch of the techy sites are bending over backwards to fawn over the creators of this road ready vehicle. A company called Parker Brothers that specialise in custom choppers, allegedly. Always interesting to see what goes on on EBAY.
This has been culled from the EBAY descriptions, and yes, you get a Tron helmet, rulin… but seriously, how much of a twat would you look on this thing.
With a non-paying bidder agreeing to purchase the 3rd of 5 bikes, and then disappearing, we must now list it again , this time with only 3 bikes remaining. We still have the Orange accent bike, Blue accent bike available, and Green accent bike available.
From the Builders of the now famous “Batpod” replica recently listed here on ebay comes the next exciting movie bike from the big screen. The new Tron Legacy movie will hit theaters in December of this year and the lightcycle sequence will be the hit of the movie. To celebrate this historic event, the Parker Brothers team is building 5 custom one off “Lightcycles” to the exact specs of the movie bikes. The engineering behind a fully functional version is mindboggling to say the least.
Now, about the bikes themselves, the wheels are custom made 22″ x12″ dual hubless wheels with custom made tires. The frame is 2″ cold rolled and boxed hardened steel with carbon fiber/fiberglass bodies. Accent colors are neon glowing from behind frosted plexiglass and can be turned off or on with the flip of a switch.
The back cover opens up at the push of a button and there is a neon glow that exits from the back of the bike to resemble the lightcycles colored light trail from the original game. These bikes will also come with a TRON style helmet.
I wonder if theyre gonna sell the helmets seperately…
